Creative Loafing Explores my Family, Friends, and New Album

Recently Ray Roa, Music Editor of Creative Loafing Tampa, and I got together and I answered some questions he had. He put together a very nice article about my father, my buddy Nate, and the new album.

Here is and exert:

"On a new album, St. Petersburg's Will Erickson puts together 45-minutes of heavy-hearted country music that can party on the back porch, too. The Five Year Weight's 12-cuts will please the songwriter-set, and they're also perfect for tailgate. In short, it's another shining example of the quality and range of music coming out of the Bay area."

I really can't thank Ray and Creative Loafing enough for this!

I hope everyone has been enjoying the new look website. I wish I could take all the credit for it's design but that would be a big ole lie. Anyways, lots of new out of town dates are on the horizon. I decided to constantly be on the road without constantly being on the road at least until after the holidays have passed. Basically that means small 3-4 day runs through the southeast until early spring. I'm really excited and looking forward to seeing all of you. The album is up for Pre-Order right now as well as the new shirts. I think they look amazing and they feel incredibly soft. Y'all be good until we talk again! -Will
